June 21, 2008 Metabief. Rallied early to meet Gregor and Peter for a day of DH at Metabief. Got on nearly the first lift, took 3 rips down the DH course and then I break my rear derailleur cable. I head off to the bike shop for a quick fix, 20 minutes later I'm back and the lift is stopped. Broken. They are creeping it along letting people off one chair at a time. So at about 11:30AM we're shut down. Oh well!
